2009 EVENT INFORMATION

KIBBEE CAMP - Tentatively set for June 27, 2009
9:30 am - 3 pm at the new reunion site
If you cannot attend to help make the kibbee, donations are gladly accepted towards the cost.

I attempted to embed some videos from camp and they are in the sidebar to the right - when it's working. It's an enigma to me! You can also see them on YouTube.com. Search for "kibbee kamp". I was able to upload 5 of the 6 (one was too long). You will be able to see this beautiful site. Videos 3 and 6 give you the best views. The music for Video 1 did not load due to copyright issues but it was the Camp Grenada song. ENJOY!!!

FAMILY REUNION July 11, 2009 9:30 a.m. – ?? p.m.
By popular demand for more space, less cost and additional recreation opportunities, this year’s family reunion will be held at a NEW OUTDOOR LOCATION – a scenic spot on the banks of the beautiful Buckhannon River approximately 20 miles from Clarksburg. There is a large comfortable, covered pavilion with lights and electricity. Restroom facilities are in close proximity, including handicapped accessible. Parking is also on site. See Directions to this relaxing spot on back.

Our schedule will be similar to previous years, however, we will have more time to relax, socialize, and enjoy activities and each other’s company… just like it used to be – only better!

9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Gather, Socialize, Go Fishing, Swim, Play Games and Setup for lunch
1:00 p.m. – Lunch
Bring a covered dish to share. Kibbee and hot dogs for the wienie roast will be provided.
Don’t forget serving spoons!
2:00 p.m. – White Elephant Auction with Master Auctioneer David Hyman
Business Meeting, 50/50 and prizes directly Following the Auction
3:?? p.m. to ?:?? p.m. – Socialize, Play, Fish, Swim, and enjoy the day, etc.

There are folding chairs available, but you may want to bring a camp chair or lawn chair to be more comfortable. Bring your fishing gear and license because fishing is allowed in the Buckhannon River. There is a shallow swimming area; however, inexperienced swimmers will need to be supervised.
You may want to bring outdoor games, board games, and water rafts/games for the swimming area.
There will be parking in the adjacent field and near the pavilion. W will have hot dogs and marshmellows to roast at the campfire – if you have roasting sticks – bring those too!

Audra State Park is located minutes away for overnight camping and several of us are planning to camp out on Friday night.
